Do a circle check of the car to make sure everything is in order before you get into the car (tire pressure, head/tail- light covers clean and rear view mirrors not broken, etc). Turn it on, buckle up, check the idiot lights on the dash and blink left, then right, check the headlights.IMPORTANT: Make sure your rear view mirrors are adjusted properly for you. You should be scanning your mirrors 50% of the time and scanning the conditions in front of you the other 50%. You need to know what is going on ALL AROUND YOU.
