Practice will help in overcoming this fear. How to bring down road accidents especially in kerala?
You should have spent more time studying spelling and language.Take little short drives, go the closest store for your mom or to the closest gas station to put a little gas in the car, or go to the closest library to study.
Little drives that are successful will build your confidence.
When you think you're ready for the highway, just drive from the on ramp to the next off ramp and get off there. Then turn around and go back. Again, short jaunts at first will build up your confidence until you can drive anywhere you need to be without all of the fear. Just don't get too confident and think that you'll never get involved in an accident, that'll be when it happens to you weather it's your fault or not.
I used to fear highway driving. All the cars zooming and zinging around scared the crap out of me and that's not to mention hearing the tires of the tractor-trailer screaming beside me.
I did what I suggested you do. I took the on ramp and got off at the next off ramp. Got away with it unscathed, then did it again on the way home and again, got away unscathed. Then I went for the second off ramp and it was fine, then the third and it was fine, too.
Always, always remember, that should you start to feel panicky, pull onto the shoulder and stop the car to calm down again. If you find yourself in a situation where you can't calm down enough to go home again, call some one to come get you and drive the car back for you. It's better to do that than risk getting involved in an accident and getting hurt or hurting some one else. And remember too, to keep trying. It'll all develop with practice. The more you get, the better you'll be.
