Should a winter driving road test be required?

Question:
I live in Michigan, and guess what? it snowed today. And as usual people were putting their cars into the ditches along I-75. It amazes me that people live in an area where this kind of weaher is common and they still can't manage to drive in it.

Elderly Drivers..?

Yes, I think that they should make you take two tests, one for winter driving and one for summer driving. You can also take a road safety course here in canada, that teaches you how to control a slide, skid, and possible accident senarios. It's called the defensive driving course. I am sure the US offers something similar and I think it shoudl be a requirement not an option.

Can you buy a night vision system for your car?

it should be required and it should also be a requirement to use a manual tranny car in drivers education too because ive seen way too many people not know how to get a clutch to last more than 5000 miles

How do you convince parents to let you get your license?

Yes it should be. I think to get your drivers permit you need to pass a skid car test.
