Question Details: Many companies now a days are using fingerprints scanners to record attendance and identification of ther employees . I was wondering if there is any violence for life safety or personal in using such machines. Also if all products in the market are safe ?

As far as safety in using the device itself, there's no risk. However, there are others and some of them are downright ghoulish. For example, it's possible for an unauthorised person to gain access by severing the hand or fingers of an authorised person.Does a firetruck have the right of way in every situation?
A much greater real risk exists if the back-end database that controls access is hacked in to by someone. Once the database is compromised, the system is essentially useless as people can't change their fingerprints.
