UK Driving Age Limit to be raised?

Is it going to be raised? If so when, and to what age? Also if someone passes at 17 before the driving age is changed can they still drive? Thank you.

Technically, the "Age" is not being raised, however there was talk of you only being able to take a test if you had a full years driving experience.

Its all discriminatory rubbish anyway. Statistically you are four times more likely to have an accident in your first year of driving, but there are equally loads of silly old farts on the road who should be made to take their test again!
