Keep your eyes on the road! Be aware of traffic ahead of you and coming toward you. Look beyond the car in front of you and see what's up ahead. Be watchful for other drivers, things in or on roads, critters, and kids.
I was driving down a highway one day and noticed a car pulled over to side. Moved to left lane for clearence. Opposite lane, saw a Volvo wagon's dr. side front tire blow out~boom! Driver went straight a short distance then started plowing into middle section over to my side of road. I slowed, but he just kept coming. Had to brake hard and dive to median to avoid him just as he passed in front of me, crashing into the only thing to hit, the car setting on side of road, killing two people in it. I did not see a driver in the Volvo when it passed in front of me, might have been hurt when wheel jumped out of control.
You can never be too careful! Be AWARE of your surroundings, ALWAYS! Be careful and have fun, safely.
