Now i'm wondering, when i go to court for the first one, is the judge gonna be able to see the one i got the day after or does it take a while to actually show up? And what options do i have w/the both of them?
btw, everyone speeds now and again. it's the governments big money-machine trap. while good people are paying big fines, meth-heads, murderers and child molestors are getting free meals and housing.

It all depends on the State you live in. Check with a local attorney to see if anything can be done.Wait until tomorrow, when you get speeding ticket #3. If your court date is a couple of weeks away, you could have close to 20 speeding tickets by then. Good luck at explaining that.

No, everybody does NOT speed now and again. The reason for tickets is public safety, not to make money. And I won't bother to comment on the rest of your nonsense except to say...no, never mind.You should feel free to contest your cites in court. You should have some kind of defense to present. The I-was-in-a-hurry one won't work. Plus if you made any incriminating statements at the time (I was in a hurry... my speedometer doesn't work... I don't know how fast I was going) that'll come up in court. Sometimes, the officer will not be able to make the hearing, and you'll probably get off.

Next time you drive somewhere, figure exactly how much you can save by speeding. I commute 60 miles a day, and I have learned over the last ten years that if I really push it, speed 10+ over the limit, I can save three or four minutes. It's not worth it.

Speeding tickets twice in 2 days isn't speeding now and again! LOLOL!! Funny how people who think the laws shouldn't apply to them always say there are worse people out there. Traffic tickets are voluntary tax payments, and if you didn't want to have to pay the second perhaps you should have observed the limit after you got the first one. Both might show up when you gor for the first one, but it depends on how quickly the paperwork was filed by the officer. Your options are to pay them. If you have the option of driver school on the first one it will be wiped out by the second anyway. Sorry, but my last speeding ticket was in 1985, and before that was 1976, so I don't have a lot of sympathy.

If both tickets are in the same jurisdiction (same traffic court) obviously that is a possibility. However, the cases would still have to be looked at independently.
