Question:
My sister Just move to california, and they have a truck that has a back seat. The problem is that the seat in the back is not wide enough to hold the bottom of the car seat so She has been putting her 1 year old in the front and turning off the air bag. Does anyone know, if she can get pulled over for having the baby ride in the front of the truck. Thanks in advance!
Answers:
Ok people, I need some help here....?
IF her one year old weighs over the rear facing limitand the truck manual states it is okay then she should not get a ticket. But if the truck manual clearly states to have car seat in the rear of the truck then she will be pulled over, IF someone notices. For the childs safety always check your owners manual for that vehicle. They know best. She may have to get a new car seat which is cheaper than a truck, and why not, ones child is the most precious cargo and no dollar amount could replace it. Toys R US and Target are good about letting you see if a car seat will fit your vehicle properly before purchasing it.
Will the Graco (Pooh) baby car seat fit in a super-cab ford f-150 4 door?(not Crew/quad cab)?

California state law requires children to ride in a federally approved baby car seat or child booster seat until they are at least 6 years old or weigh at least 60 pounds. California also requires children under age 16 to be buckled up with a seat belt.
