Third: I am using this site: http://drivingrules.net/quiz/quest1.htm... to help with my studying, I have one question that has stumped me. The site asks if you can load and unload people in an area that has a no parking or standing sign. I thought no, but it says that you can. I looked it up in my manual I just don't know what the answer would be.

When driving on wet roads, you should reduce your speed by?
That "no parking or standing" thing can be tricky - it some jurisdictions, it depends on the color of the curb. If the curb is yellow, for example, you can load or unload passengers or cargo. If it's red, then you can't do either, of course. However, it remains up to the jurisdiction as to whether or not "standing" is equivalent to "loading and unloading" -- "standing" implies being stopped in an area, occupying your car (as opposed to leaving it unattended, which is, of course, "parking"), and having no other business in the area other than waiting. If you are loading and unloading, though, you have alternate business . . . passengers. I would suggest ignoring the website response, because it may not be applicable in your particular part of Ohio. Why do people drive so close to the car in front and also have such bright and blinding headlights.?
If it only says no parking, then yes you can unload people, you just cant park................Now if it says no parking and no standing, then NO you cant unload or load people. "standing" means you cant stop and unload or load pplWhat kind of service does your city offer drunk drivers this weekend?
don't worry the test is really easy, but you can only miss 3 questions on the written and 3 questions on the signs. i am pretty sure there are 20 of each. be more worried about manuverability test! one of the mulitple choice answers is somebody died here for a street sign. how stupid is that. tread is at least 1/4 inch and i missed a question about slow moving vehicles. i don't remeber the question you referred to though but technically if you are loading/unloading then they aren't standing and you aren't parkingMore Questions & Answers ...
