Can you pull a car and a boat/trailer behind a motorhome at the same time? Is it legal to do so?

I don't think THAT combination is legal ANYWHERE. In Arizona. you can pull a 5th wheel trailer with a boat or other SMALL trailer behind it. There are rules about length and size of each, but I'm not familiar with them.

Farmers and showmen (fairground operators) are permitted to tow more than one trailer per vehicle.In the case of a farmer neither trailer must be carrying a load. I know this because I was stopped towing two trailers(one behind the other just in case some smart alec wants to comment that maybe the were alogside each other) behind a modified Land Rover and got a £50 fine. This happened several years ago. I imagine that with the increase in road traffic regulations it is still not permissible. Check with your nearest motorway control centre, they are usually aware of the obscure regulations.

With commercial vehicles you need a special endorsement for pulling two or three trailers (called double/triple) and you can only do this on limited # of highways.
my suggestion is; put a small (rowboat ) on the car's roof and eliminate any question about the legality of it.
