speed+stupidity='s death....and often, there's an innocent in the line of fire. i saw a pic of a sport bike that was detirmined to be going 155 mph when a car pulled out and the bike plowed broadside into the car with such force, it killed the 2 that were in the front, the rider was found in the back seat, and the bike was wedged in 3/4 of the way inside the car. the force of the impact shoved the car 10' from impact point, and also rolled the car over.Should there be a maximum driving age and what are some good points to suppourt this?

What is excess speed anyway? Going too fast for the road conditions or going in excess of the posted limit? They're 2 different things. 30 in fog outside a school at 3pm is criminal. 120 on a quiet motorway may be perfectly safe. OK a few walls got knocked down and a few fields got ploughed, but the farmers only got upset if you made it as far as the chicken-shed or frightened the cows.

If you think about it, that is incorrect. SPEED never killed anyone or caused any accidents; it was the driver's inability to control their vehicle at speed, and the resulting sudden impact.
