Question:
I don't care what kind of vehicle I have owned, I have always had a problem with my wiper blades freezing during cold weather. As most of you probably know then, their wiping capacity is next to none when this happens, making it difficult to see during one's morning commute. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

anyone know where to go in Georgia where a new driver can use a simulator?
The new Bosch ICON wiper blades work better than winter blades. They conform to the window and have no exposed parts to freeze and no ugly rubber seal over the arm.It put them on last winter (in New England). Expensive, about $20.00 but well worth it.
What does flashing your headlights at an intersection mean?
They have winter blades and they work great, if they do freeze to windshield it doesn't ruin the blade. cost around 13.00 a pair but well worth it.When the forecast is for frost, I throw an old towel over my windows and make sure the wiper blades are also covered. To make sure the towel won't slip, I tuck it in between the door and the frame of the car. This way, I don't have to scrape ice in the mornings.
Does "4-wheel drive" make driving in the rain safer?
two ways kepp the moisure away when it is below freezing and control the temperature by heating up the car aor windshield. good luck. some people try to cover with a car cover, but be careful it doesn't freeze to the glass or paint. put it on dry and when the car is cold. the mmoisture will condense when u cover warm in a cold climate.some covers won't stick when wet and frozen.good luckWhat should be included in an emergency kit to keep in my car?
leave them up off windshieldHow can I drive my car if my right leg is in a cast?
You mean besides moving to a warmer climate? Old truckers trick, a 2 x 4 block. Just move the wipers away from the window and insert the block to hold them there. If they aren't touching the glass they can't freeze in place there.why are speed limits on rural roads 55mph? That is too dangerous and they should be lower.?
I'm lazy, and cheep, i don't wake up early enough in the mornings to scrape my windows, and i deffiantly am not going to buy some fancy windsheild wipers, i just buy the hot ice, or whatever it's called, my husband actually did, and put it in your windsheild wiper fluiod and once you get in that freezeing car in the morn time, wet the windshield with that stuff and bam no more ice, no stuck wipers, and all is well, of course be warned you should still put the defroster on, until the window is warm enough it will fog swiftly! or just keep using the fluid!More Questions & Answers ...
