Why do cars in some countries drive on the opposite side of the road compared to the U.S.?
Interesting point; if you drive a dsg in full auto mode, one would think it's ok, but I'd want to get it in writing from DOT or DVLAIs it legal for me to ride an electric stand up scooter in SF?
whats a dsg car? What are those rubber hoses that go across the road? To check travel quantity or speed?
A "normal" i.e manual licence covers you to drive either manual or auto, no problem.A licence restricted to "automatic" entitles you only to drive those cars where no driver input is required in normal driving, i.e full auto. DSG bearboxes and semi-autos where you still change gear but without the clutch are not considered automatic, according to DVLA.
Hope that helps.
How many times have you driven drunk?
DSG gearboxes (Direct Shift Gearbox) are a combination of a manual gearbox with a auto 'box. What caused wreck that killed 4 in troup county?
According to Volkswagen/Audi (who created it) the DSG "combines the ease of an automatic car with the efficiency and flexibility of a manual."
As a DSG can be driven in an automatic or a manual mode (with the tiptronic function) then a full manual license would probably be required.
What are the options for my "not stopping at a stop sign" ticket?
An automatic license only allows you to drive a car which is fuly automatic only.
Please tell me if this is possible?
I hope this answers your queston.
