Traffic accidents?

Question:
Where do you change from driving on the right/left side when you drive from England to France and vice versa? I mean it must be lots of trouble driving through the tunnel otherwise!

Answers:

Is it illegal to drive a car after the airbag has deployed?

You can't drive through the tunnel.
It is a rail tunnel. Cars, trucks, etc. are carried through the tunnel in shuttle trains. The roads at the terminals at each end are mostly one-way, so you leave the UK road system when you drive into the UK terminal area, and enter the French roads system as you leave the French terminal area.

If you were being carjacked...?

At each end, as you leave the terminal, the lanes guide you on to the correct side of the road.

Someone parked my car in the evening in a garage, later in the morning I found that?

Just before you crash is a good time.

Is it legal to park your car right across the street of a residential driveway?

I like driving on the right in a LHD, it seems more natural. The UK should go over to the right.
You go through the tunnel in a train and then it's one way out of the terminal onto a dual carriage way, so you don't have to think about switching over, it's done for you.

Do you have a "crash-free" driving record?

You are ushered into the correct side of the raod at either end of the tunnel when you come off of the train/ferry. BUT, on the English side at least, there are loads of mulitingual signs reminding you which side you should be on (especially at roundabouts) before you are left to your own devices.

What should I do on this driving situation?

You can't drive from England to France, you have to shuttle the car accross the Channel by train or ferry.

Will i be breaking the law ? i intend to park my car outside the garage with a sign in it reading car dead etc

In England you drive on the left, and France, on the right. The car is effectively parked during the changeover.

My mazda protoge5 keeps sliding in the snow almost got into a couple off accidents... What should i do?

I know that in England, there are many signs in many languages reminding you which side of the road you should be on when leaving the port or station.

How can people help prevent kids from getting run over...?

The question of LH or RH drive keeps being asked and the answer is simple. We started it by driving on the left and France and America did not want to follow suit so they went and started driving on the right. Half the world does one and half the other.

Wut is the name of the section of the valve that actually seals against the valve seat?

The tunnel under the ENGLISH Channel is a rail tunnel so the question of conflict does not arise.

Is there a driving simulator i can buy that can teach me how to drive?

You don't drive through the tunnel, you and your car will be passengers on a train. The change over happens when leaving the train.
