Spider in the car!!!?

Question:
Last week a HUGE huntsman spider tried to crawl in the drivers side window as I was sitting a traffic lights. Of course I screamed, so he ran outside and across the windscreen. I got out of the car, did the spider-in-my-car dance then managed a swipe at him with my shoe before he disappeared under the bonnet. My shoe took a leg off him and there is a bit of spider juice on the car but he was just too big to get in one go!
Question is - do you think he has died from the loss of the leg? If not HOW do I get him out of my car? I am too scared to open the windows or turn on the air con (in case a leg comes out the vent, I know its pathetic but I really hate spiders) and boy its getting hot in that car!
