We were in a single vehicle accident so obviously it's no one else's fault, but I don't think we should have gotten a ticket. We don't even have an option to pay it, we MUST appear in court or will he will have a warrant issued. Accident and court in Nevada, we live in California. How do we fight it and what is it even for?? Help, please!!

It's kind of a catch all ticket issued in a traffic accident. It means that if you where in an accident, especially a single vehicle accident, you obviously weren't paying 100% attention to driving. They are difficult to fight because almost anything you do can be seen as not paying attention to your driving. Things like changing Cd's, talking a phone(shouldn't be doing that anyway),etc.Not being able to pay, when out of state, bummer.

btw my favorites are driving too fast for road conditions and failing to maintain a vehicle on a roadway. Money grabs.

get a lawyer dude you need one.Due Care and Attention. Obviously you are in the wrong and due to carelessness on your part you caused the incident or accident. It means the incident/accident could have been avoided. Get a Nevada lawyer,have him appear on your part and plead guilty. Impossible one to beat in court. It is the police officers word and opinion against yours.Tough luck.
