A warning light has just appeared on the dash of my borrowed 1996 Vauxhall Cavalier TDi1700?

Question:
This light is the orange one in the bottom right hand corner of the dash. It comes on intermittently and appears to depict a person leaning back in the driver's seat with a large black beach ball in their lap. I have mislaid the manual so would appreciate the benefit of someone's knowledge here!

you are intermittenly losing the power that activates your air bag restraint in an accident. check to see the fuse is tight in the fuse box or you have a loose wire in the system. while that light is lit, your airbags will not open if you have an accident
