I believe you are referring to the time it takes for you to register in your brain what you are seeing plus the time it takes to take the correct action. For example, if you are driving a car at a high speed and Justin Timberlake walks out into your path, the visual lead time would be the time it takes to first SEE him and then react correctly by stomping the accelerator to insure you don't miss him...... hope that helped.That truck turning out into your lane up ahead?
