Next time you're on the road, watch cars that drive past you. If you pay attention to the wheels, they actually turn in the opposite direction that you would expect. I have no clue why, so if soneome has a scientific explanation to the phenomenon, please share it

If you had a spoke wheel that was small... like from a miniture stage coach or something, it would look like it turns backwards and as it slows down it changed direction and then slower it reverses and looks like the first time you saw it. The reason for this is because your mind works on images per second. In other words if you look at still frames at 1 per second it would look very static and almost like someone moving in a strobe light. At about 30 to 40 frames per second the mind fills in the blanks and it looks like a constant motion. ..like when you go to the movies. Any way as the wheels speed up and slow down your mind will stay at its own frames per second and make the wheel look like it is moving in the opposite directions. I didn't explain this well but hope it helps.Is it ok for an infant seat to be installed and the front hang off the edge of the car seat?

they actually do turn in a forward motion,,if not the car would pull to one side all the time,,but it appears they turn in a different direction,this is why it looks like they are turning different sometimes,,but they all go forward,,good luck hope this help,s.Is a manual transmission safer to drive?

The direction thats feel is depend on the speed of car. As you know what ever we see is 24 photo per second in other word or brain can process 24 photo per second, Now Consider a point on wheel of car if in 1/24 of second it turns 350 to right you will feel 10 degree to left cause you can't process any image of wheel during this time.Is there a list of motor carriers safety, to see who is best or worst?
