Towing limit Mercedes sprinter 316cdi with motorhome 'Ahorn M730' plated 2800kg dealer recommend 1800kg Why?

Question:
I have a Mercedes Sprinter 316 motorhome badged Ahorn 730. (Same as Rimor Garage Model but made from Fibreglass instead of aluminium sides) 7.3m length 3500kg load + 2800 towing capacity on Mercedes plate. Ahorn dealer in UK recommends towing 1800kg max. Any idea what implications are to tow 2200kg with this vehicle? Tow bar has been made by specialist company in Poole PWS engineering very well made bar. Tow bar brackets extend 1.3m from rear of sprinter chassis to rear of motorhome garage before cross bar for tow bar and ball are attached. This Vehicle plate shows front axle 1750 kg, rear axle 2240ks, 3500kg and GVTW of 6300. Rear suspension has had upgrade using 'air ride' rear suspension helpers. Vehicle is a 2005 model on 55 plate and has ABS as standard. Engine bhp =195bhp

I would suggest that you weigh your motor home on it's own.A standard lwb sprinter weighs in around 2.1tons.I don't know how much your home weighs now but i guess it is a lot heavier than a normal van.
Has the plate been changed to allow for the change in weight?
