Yellow road signs?

Question:
My huband has informed me as well as police that the yellow mile signs are only suggested speeds. EX: The exit sign or curve sign that say 15 or whatever milage. Now IF you have an accident and over the posted speed limit you will get a ticket. Do many people know that? I think it is so sillly.

where do i find out about travel trailer tire defects?

Yellow signs are advisory, not regulatory. However, most states have a law that requires motorists to drive within a safe speed limit for the conditions. So it is possible to get a ticket for going 40 mph in a 55 mph zone.

Do you feel safer in a plane or car?

The yellow signs are suggested safe speeds for those conditions. But you can be given a ticket for exceeding the speed deemed safe for the present conditions( now including weather) by an officer even if there is no accident.
