Is it legal to own and operate a right hand drive vehicle in Utah?

I am a rural carrier for the US Postal Service in Provo, Utah and I am buying a right hand drive vehicle(steering wheel and all driver controls are on the right side instead of on the left) to use for work and I was wondering if I could also use it for regular use.

yes it is. long as everything else on said vehicle is legal, restraints, lights. etc.

No.. seriously, there is no requirement for Right or Left as far as I know. Many cars are imported from Europe with right hand drives and some of the orig. (Henry) Fords were Right hand drives (although that IS reaching a bit....)

Yes, it is legal for use in your non- work driving. Just be sure that you take the required magnetic signs off when you are using it for regular use.
