it depends....but if a cop did see he'll probably write both of them a ticket and let them talk to the judge. Your b/f came out of the car on a DRIVEN STREET, that can be an agressive approach, because he went out of his way to get of the car at an intersection, *it'll be different if it was at a parking lot * and if your b/f step towards the other guy agressively, the other guy can legally act upon that forcefully. but anyways it was just a honk, big friggin deal! i wouldn't even waste energy acknowledging it. i would shrug it off, because after all, that is what horns are for, to get other attention, right?Probably not if the other guy hit him first, but on the other hand I think your BF should learn to shut his mouth.
