Police transit vans with "Smile you are on CCTV" written on side?

hi...none of them...being an ex employee of a major company that makes speed cameras, detectors, speed guns etc., i have found that once made and issued to the authorities(UK)...then those authorities, majority of them, either forget or don't ever get them re-calibrated for further accurate usage...and those that do, do not have them calibrated correctly.

“It is important to wear suitable shoes when you are driving. Why is this?

when a re-calibration is done, then the police only ever recheck them on average 4-6 times(speed checks using a calibrated police car)...and this is actually 'illegal'...this because the UK Home Office lays down that a calibration or re-calibration 'must' be carried out a 'minimum' of 100 times...so therefore each and every speed detector being used within the UK if over one year old is 'Totally illegal!!!'.
