Question:
Hi,
Owing to the snow in the Seattle area, I was forced to park my car on the Bellevue-Redmond road. A bunch of other cars were also parked over there. Is it alright to keep the car parked over there and pick it up tomorrow or whenever the snow clears up? Or, do I need to pick it up as early as possible? Is there any fall-out of letting the car be there since the snow is pretty heavy and it is close to impossible to venture outside.
Answers:
I live in the Northeast luckily NO SNOW YET! If there is no parking ban or no parking zone then you will be fine. Be careful because I remember seeing cars that were damaged by plows when parked on the side of the road. Also have seen many street signs etc. knocked down.
truth of the matter is it will probably get towed before then,,they tow them real quick in weather like this to help keep the roadways cleaned off,,so it may be gone ,with the others when you go back,,,i hope its still there but you never know ,good luck hope this help,s.
is democracy the best system for india?
I know the answer to this question it was on the news. If your car is still there when the deicer trucks come throu it will be towed and you will have to pay big bucks to get it back. You should be asking the police this, not us yahoos. Here in Maine, most cities require vehicles to be off the roads overnight or after a snowstorm so the roads can be plowed. People who fail to comply will either get a ticket or find their car at the impound lot -- with a ticket.
