Question:
What tread [sic] is normal on a car? My front tires are 7/32 and my back tires are 9/32 . . . sorry, I know nothing about tires but when to buy them. I looked at both pairs (which I bought at different times) and they both seemed to have a reasonable amount of tread [sic] left . . . please help ^O^

Minimum tread is 3/32. If you take a penny and insert it into the tread. If you can see the top of Lincoln's head then the tires need to be replaced.

Can any one give me some safety slogans (work place safety, driving safety home safety etc)?

As strange as it sounds, I always use the "penny" method when checking the tread on the tires...The tread has to be thick enough to cover the head of the penny. If it doesnt, then I know it is time to replace the tires.

Is it illegal in Texas to have a dvd monitor in the front of an automobile to where the driver can watch?

Tread depths on stock tires ( the ones that came on the car) vary depending on the type of car and tire. In most states that do safety inspections and things like that, the minimum tread depth is 2/32. A common way to check is with a penny. If you put the penny in the tread with Lincolns' head down, the tread should reach higher than the top of his head. Also, to keep tires wearing evenly they should be rotated every 5 to 8 thousand miles as well as properly inflated.
