Parking by school gates, how annoying and irresponsible?

Question:
Does it not bug the hell out of you when completely able bodied (just lazy idle) people park in gridded areas right by school gates?
There is one at my kids school and she thinks its her god given right to park there in her big gas guzzling 4x4. People cant see round to cross the road and god help you if you have a buggy or worse a double to push as she's usually half on and half off the pavement.
Can anything be done besides reporting her to the school (who have done nothing)?

You could contact your local parking enforcement office - tell them that someone is consistently parking illegally in front of a school and hopefully they should send down a traffic warden to sort the problem out.
IF they don't then I would probably leave a strongly worded note under her wipers stating that her irresponsible parking is putting the safety of children and parents at risk. If that doesn't work start a petition and go to your local paper, and name and shame if you can!
At the end of the day I'd rather know some inconsiderate idiot has been humiliated and stopped from being irresponsible than have a child or parent injured or killed outside of a school.
