I am a registered child safety seat technician and I have had problems with certain seats in certain models of Volvos - the C70 and the S80 in particular. You can read the car's owner's manual in combination with the seat's owners' manual and still come away with questions. Your best bet would be to go to your local fire department. They can install it for you, but most of all, they can teach you how to install it properly. They can also show you how to buckle the child into the seat correctly. Incredibly 85-95% of all safety seats are being used incorrectly. It's worth the extra time and attention to make sure you and your child are not included in that statistic.
