Answers:
Speed limits are usually set 10-15 mph below this on major highways. For citizens' safety the numbers are much lower in populated areas.
In general, aerodynamics favor better gas mileage at lower speeds. You use 10% more gas at 75 mph than at 55mph. I still drive 8-10 mph faster than the limit regardless.
can u stop a child from turning of the safe search option?
OMG! There's such a thing as a speed limit?;-)
Why are cars made to go 70mph over the speed limit?
Speed limits are set by govt agencies in order to make money. The best way to set a speed limit would be to take an average of vehicle speeeds over a days time and that would be the set speed limit for that section of road. Yes the limits would be higher but they would reflect the actual speed for that road.what is the definition of shoulder room in a car?
because the law is just striaght up dumb yoWhat type of person would you expect in a car that's signaling left but turning right?
Basically because we can get away with it more often than not.If I knew that every single time I speed, I'd get a speeding ticket each and every time, I'd drive the speed limit.
Of course there are legitimate cases where speeding is justified...like when I got part of my finger cut off and had to drive myself to the hospital.
Car accident involving no brake lights or signal?
People are gonna do what people are gonna do. Regardless of what it is, there will always be someone exceeding it.Can I use my car for prolong driving?
Maybe some people just want to test the limits.Maybe they're just chronically impatient & always in a hurry, even when there's no need to be.
Maybe they don't know how to manage their time.
Maybe they're thoughtless, self-centered jerks with no regard for others.
Maybe they just go brain-dead when they get behind the wheel.
BTW, no matter how high the speed limit is, some people will always think they have to exceed it. That's just my observation.
