why do infants have to be a year old before faceing forward in a car seat?
I'm an MOT tester and I spoke to a VOSA man this weekIt is felt that a two year MOT will bring it's own problems mostly that your car is likely to deteriorate in that period if not maintained and that in tiself will mean a far tougher test at two year intervals. That is likely to mean a costlier test fee
where do i look on my tires to find out the right "tire size" for chains?
The general feeling is likely to be that this will not happen well at least for the near future . I personally suspect forget it for at least five years and maybe a lot more
Remember computerisation. It was in developement for lightyears before it finally came in. I think this will be the same
No not yet
WHO is at Fault in this car accident??
I think in NZ it is rwice yearly !Hi - in France the Control Technique exam (equivalent to MOT) is every two years and I think they start when the car is 4 years as opposed to 3. I haven't heard about is being used in UK. Will wait and see.
It's happening in the UK.
Soon.
Good move.......
However, once a vehicle has reached a certain age,
then the test should be more often.
First test is 3 years old now.
Next is then 5 years old.
Next 7.
Then make it yearly.
Cars are made well nowadays.
But age is always a factor.
......be strange having a MOT for 2 years.....
Almost Arthur Daley stuff........!
as a garage owner with an mot service i can tell you quite categorically that if it ever did come in to force there would be a lot more accidents ..you would be amazed how a vehicle can deteriorate in 12 months if not looked after the majority of faults on a vehicle is normally either steering ..tyres ..or brakes ..so if the test was every two years there would be a road crisis ..as well as a lot cars with no insurance or tax
