On friday i was driving home after picking my kids up from school when a car coming from the other way from me lost controle as he was speeding and crashed in to us.I thought we were going to die.My daughter and i have hurt our necks and my son is fine thank god.My car is a right off but i dont care about that its only metal.Now i dont want to drive any more it has sceard me so much im a nervous wreck,i keep seeing it in my head.My daughter doesnt like getting in to cars now.The driver who hit us didnt even come to see if we were ok i hope the police do him for everything and he had two bald tyres on his car.I just hope my kids and i can get over it.

Get back into a car and drive past the accident spot as soon as possible.Should the second size car seat (forward facing) be able to move from side to side?
It WILL scare the hell out of you, and you might even shake the whole time you drive. When something scares us that badly, our minds get stuck in that panic mode and we need closure to get past it.
I promise that once you have the courage to drive past that spot again that the fear will diminish significantly. Remember that courage is not the absence of fear, but knowing that there are more important things and continuing in spite of fear.

I know how you feel,I was hit head on by a full size truck and I was in a small car and for months after everytime I got in a car I would have panic attacks so bad that my legs would shake uncontrollably!I was also rear ended by a loaded semi on the freeway when I was at a stop at some construction!!Both were right offs.I would suggest to drive as soon as you can,have another adult with you so you feel safe and try to assure your daughter that it is alright and maybe seek a counsler for the two of you.Good luck,I know where you are coming from,at the time of my accidents i had no kids but I now have a 9 month old daughter and I am very very aware of other drivers more than ever and I have nightmares of ever having an accident with her in the car.Good luck.Help ! Time heals everything. Take your time and heal together. It maybe helpful to drive all of you guys to the site and sit off to the side of the road (somewhere safe) and just check it out quietly. Cry, talk, answer questions your little ones may have. I'm sorry that this has happened, the other driver maybe just as shaken up as you guys, think positive thoughts and pray for them. I surly don't think they intended to wreck, we all have done stupid things. Just thank God for the people he has allowed to still be here, take advantage of that and take inventory of your life right now. Maybe just maybe this was a wake up call.
