Three point turn or turn in the road?

Question:
when executing a three point turn or turn in the road who has right of way.
the person who started the manouvre when the road was clear to do so or a person who comes round the corner while the manouvre is in progress

Answers:

Am I the only person who switches on the car headlights while driving on the road and it gets dark?

Technically there is no "right of way". However, considerate and careful driving dictates that the person carrying out the turn stops. The usual practice is that the vehicle that came around the corner (and you shouldn't be turning near to a corner) will then hold back and allow the manoeuvre to be completed. Not to do so is inconsiderate and can be deemed "careless" if push comes to shove.

My son's partner is teaching my son to drive.?

This question can be debatable. If the person is coming down the road although they have the right of way it is just a matter of a little common seance. If a car is doing a three point turn then it is always safer to let the driver complete the manure. There are curtain rules of the road that must be taken into account. Only do a three point turn in a part of the road that you have a clear view of both up and down the road. If you try to do a three point turn say on a bend in the road a hump back bridge or where the road narrows it is like trying to park so it is safer to do this type of mauver where you have clear visibility in both directions. I hope this has helped

Technically neither, if on a driving test the person reversing must stop and let the oncoming vehicle make the decision without hand signals, if not they will fail test. This applies on every reverse.

The person who comes around the corner has the right of way. You are suppose to yield to traffic until it is safe to pull out. If the other driver comes upon you at the last minute, get out of their road as quickly as possible

Is there a specific Distance I need to have from my car to my mailbox so my mail carrier can leave my mail?

If you are turning around, you don't have the right of way. Right of way belongs to the person travelling in the proper lane. That being said, if there is a collision in this scenario, fault isn't necessarily determined by right of way, but who had the last chance to avoid it. After all, it only makes sense for both drivers to wait a moment and clear the street safely.
