How heavy do you have to be to sit in the front seat?

Question:
What weight do you have to be to sustain an airbag impact?

Answers:

Is anyone else really angry about the stick that jeremy clarkson has got today following lastnights Top Gear?

I think about at least 100 pounds but not less and it is about your age to so I think at 15 and older can sit in the front seat.

I did my drivers training... and was wondering if this was illegal?

I think it has more to do with the persons height and age. Under 12 and 65 inches in height - must sit in the back seat.
